Team Candy White

Been 2 weeks since I took the keys to my T6 Kombi Highline after having it from new as a company car. Company was going to trade it in for a new one and I couldn't part with it so I bought it off them. It's a T32 DSG 150 SWB

So far I've done the following:

All trims rubbed down, costed with plastic primer, then high build primed to give a smooth finish on the textured grills and painted in 2k High Gloss black ✅
Green grill accents ✅
Sportline bumper ✅
Gloss black headlight eyebrows ✅
Painted gloss Black VW badges ✅
Debadged rear ✅
Gloss black painted tow bar ✅
Audi strobing indicator conversion ✅
Led foglight conversion to match the LED headlights✅
Ultimate Green brake calipers ✅
Gloss black tailgate trim✅
Vw Sportline rear spoiler ✅

On the inside I added some LED interior bulbs but that's it.

Next up I might add some wind deflectors and I'd like to carpet the rubbish grey interior wood panels and sound deaden behind them. I'd also quite like a halo roof and possibly a pull down TV for the kids.

Hi Team Candy White,

New to Volkswagen, Transporters and the forum but we’ve had this for a few weeks now and we absolutely love it. I was looking for 8 months for the perfect van when this Caravelle come up at Salop Vans.

Very little changed so far as it had pretty much everything we were looking for apart from a reversing camera which we had retro fitted locally. They managed to get it to integrate with the existing head unit and even display the reversing sensors at the same time, shout out to The Dub Shed!

Only minor modifications to tidy the van up a bit like a new rear side panel that covers the jack as the clips had snapped, replacement step light and LED’s, removed the stickers on headlights, interior LED kit and upgraded all bulbs in headlights as coming from a new BMW it was like driving by candlelight.

A few ideas in the pipeline but unfortunately other priorities for now.

Loving the black spoiler and access cover at the rear doors with the black wheels. They’d look great on my Candy White, black badged van with orange accents and decals.

H7 Headlights are the way.

Second attempt at T6 ownership. Candy white Trendline. Only Mods so far are 18” Alloys and a set of Transporter HQ seat covers. Front spoiler on the way. Plan is to use it as a cycling Van for cyclocross gear etc and a changing room. So might go with leisure battery for rear cargo lights and power outlets . Bulk head remains for now. Anyone who had done similar I’d like some ideas if willing to share.

These threads may get you started.
Welcome (back)!

Busy weekend adding a few bits. Front splitter from transporter hq. Roof rails from 4x4.nl and I fitted Led lights in cargo area €35 on Amazon. Wired them as pairs using the cargo courtesy lights as switch. Had to remove the original bulbs to make them work as a switch. Happy with my days work

New to the forum and Team candy white! Picked my T6 up last month and have a camper conversion booked for the end of march in time to test it out on the annual pilgrimage to Le Mans!

Finally finished the camper conversion complete with new “Swamper” wheels and tyres so I don’t have to worry about straying off the tarmac when I’m camping

New to the group, but after purchasing it a few weeks ago and plenty of alterations since getting it, this is how it stands now. Fully converted with RIB, poptop, you name it and in ST-X coilovers with modified top mount, fronts around 10mm off from the bottom and rears the same. Few further things planned once funds allow!

Very nice. What wheels and tyres you go there? Is the van lowered at all?
Thanks Dave_b I’m pleased with the end result.
I went for 8x17 Matt black Targa TG9’s with 235/65 General AT3 tyres.
I have Gaz ultra low coil overs on their highest setting which I believe is about 40/50mm lower than standard. No problems at all with rubbing though and they sit quite nicely in the wheel arch

Well, I finally got my babies new shoes fitted, thanks to one of the guys off here for the new wheels! Most of all though a huge thank you to Remapping The Way in Mountain Ash, South Wales for doing the work on her as I'm unable to do it myself! Sorry, not the best pics but I haven't got anymore yet and I just had to show you guys now! Still got roof rails and the rear spoiler to go on, but I'm in love with my new wheels! The Mrs is happy with her too so happy days! :)

PS Apologies she has had a wash since but forgot to get a pic!
