Yeh if you drive around with tailgate up is quiet
Put silicone grease on all guides.
If I adjust slam plate it stops for a bit then it back.
Make sure it’s definitely the tailgate, could be the spare wheel carrier. Make sure that’s tight. Put some silicone spray on the seals if they’re squeaking. You might be able to pull it closed tighter by adjusting the lock slam plate. Other thing to check is the dangly handle on the inside, mine sometimes knocks off the door card.
