Windscreen washer stopped working just before van (2017 Highline) went in for service at a VW specialist (wipers were are fine and are still working). I told them about it and they said it's probably because the bonnet wasn't properly shut and lo and behold, the washer was working when I collected the van. It worked for a while, but the the washer has now stopped working again and won't respond to closing the bonnet "firmly". Screenwash bottle is full and I hear no noise from the motor. I've not knowingly doing anything to cause it to fail, such as running it for extended periods, freezing it (its summer) or letting it run dry.
Anyone got any ideas as I only have 4 days left on the warranty.
Happy to go delving for fuses as it's not a great experience visiting the local VW van dealer, but if it's going to cost money or involve fiddly work, I'd rather let them know and get it booked-in.
Thanks
