T6 TSI Intake

Hi all, after reading and trying to find an intake kit off the shelf for the tsi, i stumbled across the pipercross induction kit for the diesel t6 on vanstyle. After checking the difference with the diesel airbox i bought one and fitted it to my tsi, only issue is how it clips on, the tabs are in a slightly different location but other than that all good. Its currently secured to the airbox with a cable tie until i have the tabs welded in the right location. Nice heat soak enclosure for the foam cone filter and i didnt think a bad price of £199.

Only thing im unsure of is the recirc line. Not sure what others have done with this ? have you blanked yours off ??.

I just went with ITG panel filter and drilled lower airbox. Little bit of noise and no heat issue. I had a B5 RS4 with a panel filter about the same size and it was happy pulling 500bhp so dont need a massive one.
