T6 T32 2018150PS - Cooling fans running after a drive - is this normal

Sorry if this is an obvious one

Just bought van so all this is new to me but I've noticed every time I get out after a drive the fans are running. They stop after a minute or so. Doesn`t seem to be overheating from dash indications

Just wondered if this is normal behaviour as they seems loud. I`d have thought they`d kick in if it was getting hot

Normally the DPF regen.

You have switched off during a regen.

The van runs the fans to help cool the exhaust add it gets very hot during regen .
