There’s like a million threads on T6 lights on here.

I replaced my crap H4’s with THQ V3’s with LED bulbs.
Huge difference.
There’s now full LED headlights available also

FWIW I still have my H4 units and since fitting Philips Rally GT200 (or something like that) I’m fine with the OE headlamps.
If you do go for upgraded halogens (likely Philips or Osram) just make sure you use an authorised seller as there are fakes around.
Autobulbs Direct or Powerbulbs are good.

Replaced my standard H4 headlights on my 17 plate kombi highline with genuine H7 headlights from a 17 plate Caravelle.
It's literally just plug and play, no warning lights, no VCDS, just swap and go. Does require removing the front bumper but really not as bad as it sounds.
IMO the H7's are definitely better than the H4's, granted they're still waaayyyy off the LED's though.
Also huge thanks to @Pauly for checking wiring diagrams/connectors were the same beforehand.

Sorry that I’m not answering but I’m in East Sussex with a 2016 T6 and I’ve finally managed to get a pair of used OEM H7 units and now looking for someone who can fit them and recode so they work properly and pass an MOT. Does anyone know anyone?

It's a DIY job for a reasonably handy owner
Little guide to removing the headlight units, after removing the front bumper first, which includes a video about this. But you don't have to remove the whole bumper to take one light out at a time - thanks to another member for pointing that out! (instructions at end of that thread)
Undo the two torx screws on top, and one in the middle underneath, leaving the inner screw (on left in first picture) until last.
Then, whilst supporting the headlight - I just stood with my leg stopping it falling out - undo that last torx screw.
Then slightly lift the unit...

H4 To H7 Upgrade
There's a good THQ YouTube video on removing the grill and bumper to swap T6 headlights, they miss the fog light connection though.
Carista can code them, or look at the VCDS map.
I managed it twice and I'm a mechanical numpty!
H4's to H7's won't need recoding, they are plug and play.
If you want the main beam to stay on when the lights are dipped (improves visibility, not leaving you with a dull spot in front of the van), then coding is required.
Get a Carista, and Bob's ya Mum's brother.

Ok, thank you. Sadly I’m the kinda guy who can easily take things apart and then totally incapable of putting them back together or changing a setting that affects something else that I then can’t reset which usually costs me more to fix than just getting it done in the first place by someone who knows what they’re doing.
In that case, any local competent garage should be able to do it, but I'd point them in the direction of the THQ video on YouTube....
I would class myself in this bracket, but as others have eluded to, watch the videos and ask plenty of questions on here.
I have bugger all mechanical abilities, yet even i managed to do it.
