H4 to H7 headlights

I’ve got a 2017 T6, I’ve just bought some V3 headlights from THQ and the low beam goes out when I select the high beam, the headlights I took out were aftermarket ones, but both low and high beam came on together. How can I get this resolved.

Thanks

Easiest way is to get some one with VCDS to change the headlight settings in Central Electrics, to keep the dipped beam on with main beam.
I am not sure if this is possible with Carista.

OBD11 can do it too but strange the original aftermarket lights kept low beam on with high beam but the THQ ones don't. 🤷‍♂️

Someone said that the lights I removed must’ve been wired to do that, rather than the Van being set up to do this

That's the only logical conclusion innit.
So coding required now.

Puzzled as to why you have titled this thread like you have ?
Because the H4 bulb is a high and low bulb and the H7 and H1 are independent bulbs, I need to know how to get them both working at the same time on high beam. I wasn’t sure how to title the thread to be honest.

Video link from THQ on doing what you need

thanks for sending me this video, it explains a lot, I’m going to order the Carista OBD reader and have a good programming it myself. Thanks again.

It’s literally one click and it’s done. But still handy tool to have in the arsenal.
