Just wanted to say thanks again @Pauly , I’m continuing to read through the various related threads/posts on this subject and the following came up?

I assume this is not a necessity, more a nice to have ? Is that true ?

Also, am I right in saying that the new 8K module that’ll come with the front PDC kit from car systems eu, will be pre-configured so will be seen and work, straight out the box once it’s all installed? (No VCDS etc. required for the retrofitting front sensors?)

Sorry to highjack this thread, I am looking at fitting front PDC, the controller I have is 7E0919475T - Parklife 4k is this compatible with 7E0919475S / 7E0919475AA quoted for front and rear PDC? I.E do I need to change (J446)

Also is it possible to retrofit the front ACC? sensor as this 2017 TDI150 DSG Highline doesn't have it fitted

4k means 4 sensors ie rear only so you will need to change it for 8k module which is 8 sensors ie front and rear

Hi @Trello , it sounds like you’re attempting a similar project to me, (although I need to finish my cab upgrade first, before I start anything else, especially taking the front off )

Would love to hear how your retrofit goes, and the exact parts you buy.
Are you doing the fog lights too, or do you have them in already ?

Fit DRL's with the Parking sensors (gloss)
Change the fog light inserts to gloss with the sensor holes

When it comes to upgrading to the 8K Module , it’s looks like the part number needed starts with “7E0919475” , but from there, there looks to be a lot of different one some end with “T”, or “L”, or “K” or “AA”. ?

The last one seems to be the most common used in T6s. But what do the suffix letters mean and can you use any of them ?

Im not sure is the honest answer, i would assume its just different software etc
It looks like S and AA are the 8k versions

K & T = 4K
L & AA & S = 8K

looking on ETKA it shows T & AA variants under transporters
carsystems list S & AA part numbers on their upgrade kits so i would stick with them (preferably AA if available ?)

Yeah, it seems like AA is the one to focus on, i recall someone on here sell a S a while back, so thats a good sign..

Looking online there are a number of 8Ks (VW don’t make it easy)

Manufacture date on all of those apart from the AA predate the release of T6 vans and a couple say 7N0 which i think is sharan ?

Its more than possible they will work just fine but not really worth taking the chance (unless they are dirt cheap) i would stick with S or preferably AA

not often at all - so it’s perhaps more for the front aesthetics, but - on that one cold misty/foggy day later in the year when I need it - I’ll be glad to have them (and so will the people around me)

Looking to retrofit the fog lights this weekend or next, and have two key questions

1) what screws will I need to fix them ?
2) what led bulbs / kits are recommended now - there seems to be a lot out there on the market?
