T6.1 Leisure Battery Under drivers seat

Hi,

I need to fit a leisure battery along with split charge, fuse box etc to my t6 kombi.

I have bought all the kit from Rayne Automotive along with a battery plate from MVM.

I’ve taken the drivers seat out and tried to suss it all out but it doesn’t look like it’ll fit.

The plate doesn’t fit very well, plus there’s a load of electrical gubbins under the seat that’s in the way ( see attached pics).

The van has factory swivel heated seats if that’s makes a difference.

Sorry for the basic Q’s. I know, I should’ve just paid someone to do it for me.

Hope your fitting a DC-DC charger and not a VSR relay. The modules and plugs can be unclipped from the seat base and moved out of the way. Will the plate fit underneath the seat base to give a little more clearance?

Plate won’t go under the seat due to the ridge in it. I think I cut slots in the plate to make it fit but not 100% sure the mods I made.
