T6.1 closing tailgate with key fob

Hi everybody
Can anyone help with programing:
1.Closing tailgate with key fob
2.Opening/closing tailgate with key fob without unlocking the whole car . ???
So far I manage to program openig with key fob and activating switch in the driver door ( only opening) , get rid of buzzer and lights but I can’t find a solution for above
Vw T6.1 , OBD11

I’m optimistic there’s a solution coming for this, I want to get it sorted as I have a 6.1 with electric tailgate just need to put some time aside to actually try and do it ! but at the moment if and when it’s released it will not be possible with VCDS it will require VCP or ODIS

I'd be quite interested if you find a solution, particularly if it would also halt/reverse opening. I've accidentally triggered the tailgate trying to do the long unlock press to get the windows down once or twice and once it's opening there is no way I've found of stopping it hitting stuff parked behind you without running to grab it...

Mostly what I'd really like to find a solution for is to extend the interior lights time out like you can on a T6, but that's another thread.

I appreciate mine is an aftermarket tailgate, but I can open and close the tailgate by pressing the unlock button three times, either from the drivers door card or the remote.
@Pauly more then happy to let you take a look at my van when I’m next near you if it helps the club/forum.

Do you have access to either or both? If not, PM me.

Sounds like it's uploading a parameters file from a different vehicle?

Yes I have genuine ODIS and licensed VCP so I’m all good thanks, and yes it seems datasets are the key !
