T6.1 Climatronic always blowing hot

I’m loving my T6.1 Highline but trying to understand how the electronically controlled A/C system works

Once I turn the heater on it won’t go off even if I turn the left hand dial anti clockwise back to the cool position. It doesn’t matter what position the right hand dial is set at it still supplies warm air

It would be really useful to have an explanation in layman’s terms describing how this system is supposed to operate and if there is an ‘overide’ to turn the heat down or off, perhaps by pressing the A/C button?

On most auto aircons it provides a constant temperature output not a varying output as true climate control does. A bit of ‘clever’ marketing by VW.the fact that there is no auto setting on the dials is the giveaway, I think only caravelles had auto

I've seen this thread on here too, sounds like the interior temperature control thing is a developing issue...
