Very late to the party but have just heard the swooshing of liquid back and forth in our new T6.1 when we came to a stop. We have recently filled up the tank fully for the first time. We've had the van since Feb and have not noticed it before - today was the first time we have heard it. Reading your posts has put our mind at rest as it sounds a common thing. Thank you all 
Yes that's totally normal, most commonly heard with a full fuel tank and when you come to a stop and the stop start kicks in you will hear it sloshing about.
