Swapping VSR for Cyrix-ct

if what you have works . . . then stick with it.

if you find your battery ( either starter or Leisure ) is going flat, then we can have a look at that at that point, and work out a solution.


but i would say that at some point you will end up with a flat starter battery.

so either make sure you have some beakdown cover like AA or RAC etc.

or even better - get yourself a jump pack so you can jump start your own van without 3rd party help.

they are well worth investment to help stop you getting stuck.

maybe a smaller simple unit like the CTEK D250SE,

The BM2 unit is fine on the battery..(blue circle)

But what's the blue connector for?(red circle,)

Hi @Dellmassive that blue terminal was the negative terminal from the VSR unit. I assume it should be connected to the chassis?
I’m fitting a Sterling battery maintainer. I assume that the negative terminal for that should be attached to the chassis too?
