Stereo Wiring.

Hello.

Thanks first of all for a wonderful forum.


I bougth a xtron head unit "china"
I know cheap crap. But it is for my work car.

Now to my question. Where do i find +12 that is going over the ignition?

In the quadlock its only constant power ? Have searched the forum with no luck.


My car is a transporter t6 2016.
And sorry for my english im from Sweden.

You can take a +12v ignition from the lower dash fuse box.

It you can get a CAN bus adapter that will give you the feeds for the stereo you need..... like these...

Do i need to use a empty or can i connect to one use ?


Do i realy need canbus adapter?
This head unit does not need that i think.

The seller told me that it was bolt on .

But in my oem harness i have 2 cabels for canbus, but how do i know witch is + - ?

Canbus high is orange/green. Can us low orange/brown
 
Illumination feed can be got from CAN bus connection.

Or CAN bus decoder box.

Or blue/grey illumination feed wire at back on light switch or any other button. (Its a dimming PWM LED feed)
