Just purchased a starlink mini.
Have USB-C, and 12v cigarette running off a xplorer polarmax LiFePO4 100ah 12.8v leisure battery.

I don't have an invertor.

Understand cable on its own plugged into USB-C or 12v won't maintain stable power.

Do I need an invertor, or is there some kind of cable that can increase the power?

I run off my invertor/Jackery but before I had those I used Amazon.co.uk to run directly of my 12v system.

You're right. I've been referring this thread for weeks while planning my Starlink setup and hadn't realized it had been updated.

It works yeah no issue. And the voltage changes to what you set it. 12v no fun for Starlink. Needs a bit more juice.

That said, it's only a cheap cable so not sure I'd run for days without a bit on monitoring. Which tbh is why I run mine on 240 these days.

That’s gonna take some time though. They are hoping to launch the 1st this year but the other 3199 who knows.
