You can't do it with Carista. You need VCDSAhh, just need to code it in. Thanks
There's my excuse for needing a Carista then....

Yes they willOk, I have a friend with VCDS, I'll have to go and see him when lockdown is over
Will the rear speakers work without coding (just no balance control)?
I think I'm going to get the Skipton kit, as apparently it's plug and play

I would pull the headunit out first to see if they have put the rear wires in the correct places, see so many just attach them to the front wires. Then you need someone with VCDS to code it for the fader featureI have aT6, which was converted by Jerba Campervans. The put rear speakers in the van, BUT the left - right balance function has now become front-back stereo balance function (not to be confused with bak-front fade function). How the hell can I sort this out? And how can I programme the basic media unit to accept fader function as well?
Thanks. Would this be something that A vw dealer could sort?I would pull the headunit out first to see if they have put the rear wires in the correct places, see so many just attach them to the front wires. Then you need someone with VCDS to code it for the fader feature
doubt a Vw main dealer will touch it. But a specialist will be able too
