Solid 'engine' light. Any issues I should worry about?

My engine light is remaining on whilst driving/running. No noticable issues i.e. no reduction in power, not in limp mode. I don't have my user manual. Can anyone tell me what this suggests please?
I'm not at home, but away in Notts with the family for the week.
Thanks.
Ignore the sidelight, it's dirty contacts, comes on and goes off occasionally. Bulbs works fine.

Thinking on, the exhaust it starting to blow, so it may be related to any sensors in the exhaust.

If it is ahead of the DPF. Are you sure it isn’t a cracked EGR pipe?
Either way you still need to scan for fault codes. Do you have a Carista or similar? If not the Carista is available on Amazon.

A mate checked it this afternoon. It's P0672 Cylinder two glow plug circuit.

He cleared the fault and it has remained clear so far. We are in Notts and visiting Wakefield tomorrow for the day, then I'm driving south to Basingstoke. I'll see how it goes. Hoping it doesn't go into limp mode. My Passat had an issue with a glow plug open circuit earlier in the year and it went into limp mode, or very low output. Bonkers considering the glow plug only heats the pot prior to the engine starting, rather than running, as far as I'm aware.

Have a Search with ‘glow plug’.
It maybe just a wiring fault, more likely than the glow plug if you’ve cleared the fault and it hasn’t come back.
Otherwise disconnect the connector on the glow plug and check it’s continuity / resistance with a meter.

Yeah, hoping it's just a loose connector. If it was faulty I would have expected it to trigger soon after the fault was cleared, but it has remained off since lunch and we have been all round Nottingham today, so fingers crossed it's not a faulty glow plug.

The Shuttle went into my trusted local garage on Thursday. It didn't come back Friday and I received a friendly call from the garage owner.
The floods in Nottinghamshire didn't do any damage to the plastic under body panels.
They swapped my alloys for the steel wheels, with fresh tread for the winter.
Sadly the number 2 glow plug wasn't budging! They bought all new glow plugs, as I always ask for everything replacing at the same time, save my going back too soon with the same fault on a different pot.
So it has been left with them, and hopefully they can get the glow plugs out without striping the threads or worse, breaking he plugs and leaving the carbon end in the head!
When asked about number 3 glow plug it did cost more than the ~£20 glow plugs but at £130 not the £200 I'd read elsewhere.

If the head has to come off, is there anything else I should have done whilst it is 'open'? I know labour rates are the biggest cost usually so is there anything serviceable they could replace or do at the same time?
Cheers.

Update. The garage managed to get heater plugs 2 & 3 out and changed. They just soaked the plug for a couple of weeks. May have to seek some specialist to change the others as they refused to come out. Number 4 came out three threads but then refused to come out more, so it went back in.
