Does it only work with premium color MFA or also with the black and white?Confirmed
I never got a chance to test it myself but I would say yes it should.
What do you change for it?
I was able to get Instrument Cluster RCTA warning on 5Q0 radar setup.
If you set the coding of 3C, BYTE 0 to 01, the audio warning will be produced by the Instrument Cluster instead of PDC speaker.
Obviously Instrument Cluster produces also nice graphic for a premium version and I expect to see ordinary text message for the lower version.
I've 2Q0 radars... Do you know the difference between 2Q0 and 5Q0 radars?
I tried coding with vcds but isn't possible to change Byte0 to 10
Maybe I've to try coding with VCP...
Sorry for my typo it should be 01 and not 10.
This adjustment applies to 5Q0 radar setup and I didn't get a chance to work out 2Q0 yet.
I'll try it with 2Q0 radars tomorrow, thank you

Hi to all! I'm doing this to my Jetta MK6 and i have a doubt about the wiring from radars to the front. I already install the radars and connect to the extension but the cable was too long, so i decided (in order to fit) to cut all the cables at the same time just in the union =( (my bad). After doing the connection again, i am not sure about the pin out because there were several brown cables and black/green with a split like the following photo:
Anyone has the diagram in order to check?

Hi guys, sorry for my bad English 
. I spent hours reading this post. I would like to have side assist on my VW T5.1 Multivan. My darling has already undergone a few modifications, such as the exterior being rebuilt to give it a T6 look, and I also replaced the dashboard with a T6. I have the original gauges board from the T5.1, i just used the cover from the T6. I have colored 3D gauges. I also installed a heated front windshield from a T6, including an interior mirror and a new light sensor (5K7955559C) .
I have mirror covers and LED indicators for the covers ready and radar mounts
. I know I still need a "kufatec set." I also don't know what kind of radars to use. From what I've read here, many of you have used 5Q or 2Q. So I don't know if 7E would be enough for me. I don't necessarily need rear assist.
I don't know if I need the set with the button from T5.1 or if I can use the set from T6, which doesn't have a button.
I would appreciate any advice/help and adding the log for my car. Thanks!

So far I am slowly acquiring the relevant parts and using download vw elsawin diagrams that I was able to get from Paulys thread for the wiring and the routes I will take with the harness I will be constructing.
I noticed this suppression filter (C10).
Tried goggling this with no joy. I have searched the forum but I am struggling to find the location of this.
Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

Slowly making progress on the lane change assist retrofit.
Have one radar unit wired and fitted.
All going well will get the next one done over the coming days.
Just waiting for my new mirror caps and led indicators to arrive.
Van is a 2022 t6.1 pv.
Will update as and when and hopefully be able to navigate my way around vctool for the coding and paramatise of the radar units.

Drivers side radar now installed and plug connector terminated.
Mirror cap led modules have tured up from 'The OEM shop' and wiring harness made and fitted to both mirro housings.
Just have to now get these harnesses inside the dash area and pin them to the relevant fuse way and gateway module.
Then the cold sweats trying to work out the coding I managed to get

A step closer to coding the modules.
Now finally spliced the canbus into the relevant can wires on gateway module and SC46 5amp KL15a supply wire.
I will say, this was with doubt the most awkward wire I have ever tried to get into place on one of these fuseboxes. The great minds at volkswagen never thought guys like me may like to add retrofits to their kit
. My hands and fingers are just starting to heal.
Placed an off cut of the supply wire in the correct fuse way so could be
certain i was inserting it in the correct way.
Next will be the 2 additional KL30A supply wires for the factory led headlights I am looking to do next in the coming weeks. Will post separately for this.

@Robert Do you have experience on t5.1 if 7E moduls works ofc without RTCA. this inst necessary. we have all "free" 7E set and only need info if it works or not - or we must go to 2Q/5Q... wiring coding all we have from ur topic and thats perfect but i cant see anyone build on t5.1. thanks i ll appreciate for help
