Caddy uses the same sensors on both rear wheels and T6 has 2 different kinds on either side. Mounting bolts are the same

The Bidirectional Sensors can be mounted on any side.
I have bought some Sensors and will try to mount them.

Are the Part Numbers for the ABS Sensors which are used when "Park Assistent" is available.

Ok, we got a bit setback.
Today i tried to change the ABS Sensor to the WHT 003 864 A
That did not work, they are mechanically to different.

Looking into Sharan probably this could fit:
4 Motion: WHT 003 856 B and WHT 003 857 B
2 Motion: WHT 003 859 B and WHT 003 858 B



Looking into T6.1 the Sensor are mostly the Same as T5/T6.
WHT 003 856 B and WHT 003 857 B
T5/T6 only have without "B"
Probably we dont need to change the Sensors @ all.
I did not try to just change the ABS coding and see if if works ...
Will try that

Did testing Today.
So as expected we need to change the Sensor.
When enabling Bidirectional Sensors with Coding last Byte of ABS Coding to 0x50 or 0xF0 i get the Error:
0071 - Rear Left Wheel Speed Sensor
C101C 4A [137] - Incorrect component(s) installed

0087 - Rear Right Wheel Speed Sensor
C101D 4A [137] - Incorrect component(s) installed

And for the Front the Codings 0x05 and 0x0F are working, too with Error:
0039 - Front Left Wheel Speed Sensor
C101A 4A [137] - Incorrect component(s) installed

0055 - Front Right Wheel Speed Sensor
C101B 4A [137] - Incorrect component(s) installed

WHT 003 856 B and
WHT 003 857 B are ordered, tests to be done soon.

Did change the left Sensor from WHT 003 857 to WHT 003 857 B.
After Ignition on i was greeted by the ABS Warning and the Error Code:
0071 - Rear Left Wheel Speed Sensor
C101C 4A [137] - Incorrect component(s) installed
Changed coding for the left Side to Bidirectional ABS Sensor (Last Byte 0x10)
Works like expected

With 0xF0 we are inverting the Polarity and than forward is backward and vice versa

I just was reading a comparison about the Side Assists, and someone said that the 3Q0907566E 3Q0907590E (Bosch MRR-Rear) from MQB-Touran are better than the 5Q0
