Just taken the oil filler cap off the car to clean around it as it was oily and general dust had stuck to it. This is the first time I have ever removed the cap as it is a Motability vehicle and we are only meant to check the oil and add screen was.
Well inside the filler neck and in the bottom of the cap is what I suspect is the signs of a head gasket or worse failing. We have been telling motability and VW van center since the day we have had it that it uses coolant (it’s often in the dealers for coolant top ups but the don’t seem concerned). It’s a 2022 with 51k on the clock.
