I'll take the chance at being ridiculed for something as simple as this, but-
I've had VW's for years, and when you try and top up the screen wash reservoir with additive from a 5 litre can you need three hands- two to hold the can, and one to hold the plastic cap open, which tries to close itself if you don' t hold it.
Well, i twisted the blue cap around, and you can tuck the cap under the servo vacuum pipe, keeping it out of the way while you fill it..
