Sargent Ec155 - Ok To Leave On All The Time?

But that’s only when it’s connected to a EHU which for me at least is only a few weeks a year and with the fridge etc running I don’t really see it as a problem (cue the battery failing in France in 2 weeks time now I’ve said that!)
 
The Sargent isn't an intelligent charger...

It's just a 13v power supply connected to the battery.

I would fit a dedicated smart charger and disable the charge feed from the Sargent.

But don't ask me how as I haven't got one to play with.

Others have done so... But you will need to search about for the posts.
So is that where the CTEK kicks in as an intelligent charger? I've been getting high voltage alarm from sargent recently, (been leaving on for fridge) but suspect it's the solar panels perhaps pushing the voltage in the hot weather, it's ben creeping over 14v only just mind...
