The latch looks like it’s made from polypropylene which is hard to glue to anything.
That said it’s clear from the photos that the adhesive has sheared, perhaps the full pad area should be bonded to get the desired strength.
With equipment failure I’ve often found there’s a discrepancy between the design and the assembly.
I really want these windows but I just can’t purchase based on the above, especially now knowing that the replacement adhesive also fails. Gutted for you guys.
For what it's worth....just had a Crafter safari window fitted (in a Crafter) and its a totally different quality.
Much more robust but a bloody big, heavy piece of glass for a van.

As in a Camper Glass version? If so, yes. The latches are bigger on the Crafter ones, theres more contact area for the bonding. The rams are bigger too.
If you attached a stainless steel shim to the plastic (PP) handle by secure mechanical means the glue will then work to adhere the shim to the glass pad.
I have been looking at the Safari windows from CamperTec Glass (Trade Glass) as these have an integrated fly screen. Anyone got these? Will they still work with Camper Glass rear privacy quarters, assuming they are all the same?
Very disappointed after only 2 years.
My Camperglass window handle has completely popped out today (photos attached). Looks like the plastic fixing points failed, possibly due to heat/high temperature inside the van.
Has anyone repaired this successfully? Any glue recommendations for this type of repair, or should I go directly through Camperglass for replacement/advice?
Thank you.
