Rusty roof bolts

Hello, have searched for similar posts but can't find anything.

Being stuck in doors and looking out the window I have noticed the bolts on the roof have started to go rusty. See attached picture.

I guess these are the roof rack bolts.

My question is, shall I leave them alone, take them out and treat the rust and replace or replace the bolts? Or something else?

I'm worried about removing them and then causing issues with water ingress.

My bolts are painted, and still look like new on my 2017 T6. I wonder if yours have been replaced at some point?

The ones that aren't rusty are painted the same colour as the van. Looks like the paint has failed on them. I'm second owner of the van and don't think it had a roof rack on before, but the bolts absolutely may have been changed (or they may be rubbish but original!)
