Route Speaker Cables Into Tailgate

Any bright ideas to get speaker cables down into tailgate?

I can get them to tailgate but struggling to get them down to tailgate through tailgate voids.

Am trying with stiffer wire at the moment to try and push that through to use as puller.

The tailgate loom is quite chunky.

I ran some similar sized cable down there a few months ago for tailgate lighting - fish tape done it for me, along with some lube.

30amp copper wire in sections to pull cables through voids. Not bad.

What was difficult was the rubber conduit between rear and tailgate this took numerous attempts.

Eventually pushed thin cable through using nylon poll to pull further cables though with first cable. Used engine oil for lube....

Just learn a new term "fish tape"

Theres a good chance the tailgate rubber boot is EPDM which will be perished by engine oil. Best clean it off as soon as poss.
Safer to use silicone lube.

How should i clean, detergent and water, dry and talc?

Aerosol can of brake cleaner would be best.

What’s Vaseline like with this type of rubber?

From my experience no petroleum based products are safe with EPDM, Vaseline is petroleum jelly.
