Sadly selling my very much loved and cared for van. New chapters and adventures make it not quite suited to the longer duration European trips we have planned.
So, the van is :
A 2021 (July) 204 bhp, dsg auto, T 32, lwb 4 motion, in pure grey, with 21500 miles.
It has a full VW SH inc haldex oil change.
It is listed on the V5 as a panel van with windows; as I had the windows added as part of the conversion and got the V5 changed appropriately.
Excellent spec, which includes Exploria designed leather upholstery on factory swivel, heated seats.
The full media system inc sat nav, with upgraded Alpine speakers, fitted by Exploria.
Radar controlled cruise control.
Other work done by Exploria includes a stunning halo roof, with Alcantara head lining, led halo lights with remote control to change brightness and colour.
Curtains throughout and front screen privacy curtain, which attaches the A posts.
Reimo multi rail
Day van work includes, 110ah leisure battery linked to 150w slim flexi solar panel (with appropriate charging and controlling electrics)
Webasto diesel heater,
LED ceiling spots with switch on b post.
Fitted with a Piggl bike bed with cushion, all in £2000. This is a great piece of kit, with large front and rear storage draws, and the ability to carry bikes of any wheel width (up to 2.6”) safely and securely. At night, with the bed in position, there is still space to store 2 bikes alongside the bed. Please check out their website for a product video.
Roof rails and roof bars.
Wheels and tyres - fitted with Velare vlr t 20” staggered alloys, with 10” rear and 8.5 fronts. The nearside rear is very lightly scuffed and you have to look hard to see it. Currently shod with my winter tyres, General at 3, with 6mm all round. I have a set of budget summer tyres (Acceleras), which are hardly used with 7mm all round. All tyres are 275/40/20, and t 32 rated.
Van has Koni Active shocks fitted at CRS Performance, giving a very much improved ride and handling.
Extras to come with the van, subject to offer of course..
Vango Cove air 2, awning, as new, only tested in front garden! £550 rrp.
Maypole air sun canopy (super bit of kit, very quick to put etc), hardly used, rrp £200 inc detachable sides.
Indel B18 litre 12v compressor fridge, which fits in between the front seats.
It is an excellent van and I still smile when I get in it.
