My reverse camera has developed a fault.
It goes very dark like its night, I can still see the marker lines and a very dark picture.
I thought it was water that had caused it, so took it to dealer and guess what, it worked and wouldn't do the fault. Luckily I had taken pictures of the screen.
So they agreed to swop camera.
Took it in today, went to collect it and the service guy came out and showed me it working.
Got home reversed down the drive, and the fault was back.
Any ideas.

Hi I have just had the same thing, mines out of warranty though. It did return to normal for a few seconds so it’s got to be a connection or interface issue with the display, all other functions display correct.
Did you ever find out the problem?

The problem with mine was a lose connection under the drivers seat. Its a grey connector, looks a bit like a fakra connector..

For anyone who is interested, I eventually fixed my faulty reverse camera, it was showing B/W and very dark. The issue was the long co-ax cable from under drivers seat to the camera, I sourced the cable from amazon, it was about £12? I can dig out the link if anyone interested. Feeding the cable through the rubber flexible boot which connects the tailgate to the roof was a nightmare, eventually did it with silicone spray and a long screwdriver...
