Hi Ian, if you have OBDeleven its an easy job, but you probably need to pay the subscription fee. In general a diagnostic and coding tool is a must have for me on my travels. I once ran out of diesel and had to prime the fuel pump... dont ask. Macedonia

OBDeleven saved me many times.
Step 1: Update the Installation List (Module 19)
This tells the vehicle that a new hardware module is present.
- Open the OBDeleven app and connect to your vehicle.
- Go to Control Units > Gateway (Module 19).
- Select Installation List.
- Find Rear View Camera (6C) and set it to Coded/Installed.
- Hold the green checkmark to save.
Step 2: Activate the Display (Module 5F)
This tells your head unit (MIB3) to switch to the camera feed when you hit reverse.
- Go to Control Units > Information Electronics (Module 5F).
- Select Long Coding.
- Use the search icon or scroll to Byte 19.
- Enable Bit 4 (often labeled as Rear View Camera or RVC).
- Note: If you don't see bits, look for the text "rear_view_camera" and change it to "active".
- Apply and save the changes.
Step 3: Parking Assistance (Module 10 or 76)
If your T6.1 has parking sensors, you need to tell the parking module to expect a camera so it can overlay the sensor graphics.
- Go to Control Units > Parking Assistance (Module 10 or 76).
- Select Long Coding.
- Find Byte 2 and enable Bit 4 (Rear View Camera installed).
- Apply and save.
