Hi probably a dumb question are you supposed to be able to stand on the top of a rear bumper , I’ve had it colour coded and fitted a protector , but is it sturdy enough to stand on l, I’ve not darred to try
Cheers

Secondly anybody know how safe to attach roof bars onto a pop top ??

I think that the ‘bumper’ is just a painted plastic cover, the thing that absorbs bumps, is a reinforced section beneath.

Nope I wouldn’t recommend standing on it.

The rear bumper rests ontop the back chassis frame. You can stand on it all day long, jump up and down. I even had a 300kg piano rest on it as we loaded it in. I have a bumper protector otherwise you would damage the paint.
I step on the rear bumper 30 times a day getting in and out of the van on jobs as I work out the back of it on customers drives.

There's no protection on the bumper so mine is ripped to shreds and it's only a year old. I've stuck on a metal protector now to cover the damage. I try not to stand on it as it appears to be quite flimsy , just use the plastic step on the inside if I can
