Pulling Down Pop Up Roof

Help/Advice needed. Do you know where we could buy something to attach to the handles on the roof to make it easier for shorter/weaker people to get the roof down?

You could tie some webbing around them to make a loop that you could pull. Also make sure a door or window is open, it makes is far easier.

I made two webbing straps from what was in the sewing room “lucky drawer.”
A couple of lengths of thick cord would do!

@woody9229. You’ve not said what sort of roof but my Westdubs secures with two cam straps - I just wrap those around my wrist a couple of times, grab hold and pull down. It helps that I’m not particularly light (75 Kg) or short (6’1”) but I would imagine that standing up, grabbing the straps as high up as you can and sitting down whilst pulling might help a bit.
