Pre-buying inspection - advice needed

Hi guys, I'm looking for buying a T6 kombi (this is how it's called in my area when you have windows and seats all around but otherwise nothing else in the van). I have checked one with the help of my friends VCDS and have some trouble analyzing the auto-scan logs. Could you (maybe @mmi especially :) ) help me out so I better know what to expect form this van? It is generally a good condition one, not overpriced would buy it and even spend on it if needed but huge issues would be no-go obviously.

Here's the auto-scan log:

(I have intentionally trimmed it as other ECUs don't contain any codes and I'm wondering mostly about the 01-Engine ones anyways)

So, some DTCs are around the 245413km ODO and that's when the last oil service was made on the car and it's also suspected that the battery was weak thereabout as the van is not being used since February.
The seller allowed us to delete the codes so we see what comes back. Only P046C came back before starting the van and nothing else during the test drive. It feels and drives smooth for as much as I can feel with my a** sensors but that's more to it. :)
Even more info: EGR was said to be replaced a while ago (20-30k back) but I have no document about it. Turbo was not touched as far as I know.
We focused so much on trying to get the injectors deviation in engine 13 measuring block (which we could not as this van hasd only advanced measurements menu active in VCDS and I couldn't find any live data with mg/stroke amounts that I forgot to check oil mass in DPF and maybe some other valuable data. The van is quite far from me, repeated measurement is not possible at this point, unfortunately.
One more thing, this is the "weak" CXG engine with the 5spd gearbox but the owner has the CXH(?) (so the 140/150PS one) programme loaded on it as the two engines are said to be different only SW wise, HW should be the same (apart from the gearboxes) so this wouldn't scare me.

Okay so the particular question is, with having the P046C back should I assume there's another EGR issue is about to come up? VW says to ignore this code when there's nothing else but this van had another codes back 3k before but they've not come back now indeed. Also, do you see much wrong with this van from the autoscan above?

Thanks a million times in advance!

That's good news that the other faults didn't come back. Yes, the P046C is an interesting one - it seems to happen only when engine is shut off - when engine is "sweeping" the EGR valve by running the valve from min to max several times.

Expected life span of the DPF is approx. 300.000 km - based on my collection engine's internal statistics (VCDS blockmaps). But this is just a guess at the moment - time will tell...

EGR was said to be replaced a while ago (20-30k back) but I have no document about it.
Well, the EGR system can be tested easily by VCDS. I believe a fairly good estimate can be given based on the collected data.

injectors deviation in engine 13 measuring block (which we could not as this van hasd only advanced measurements menu active in VCDS and I couldn't find any live data with mg/stroke amounts
Yes, these engines do not report injector deviation "traditional way" and indeed instead of measuring blocks all the available data can reached via Advanced measurements. I believe the parameter related to injector deviation is found starting from "IDE12085 Fuel injection time deviation: cylinder 1".
Some measured data about Transporters available here:

I forgot to check oil mass in DPF and maybe some other valuable data.
Yes, full snapshot of the engine's internals can be extracted with VCDS (requires HEX-V2 or HEX-NET cable, the legacy ones won't do)
VCDS > Applications > Controller channel map > [Controller 01, Measuring values, CSV file]

That's still the OEM CXGB software (identifiers). The OEM software load would have changed the identifiers.
Well, 110kW/150PS engines (CXHA, CXFA) have different turbo than CXG-series engines.

1 Fault Found:
0397 - TPMS Warning
C102D F0 [008] - Pressure Loss
This is only a record of Tyre Pressure Monitoring System activation - not really a fault.

Thanks a lot mate!

Well as the van in question is quite far away I won’t go back to test again even if this round was not sufficient. I’m more or less aware of the expected lifespan of the DPF but as I would not do a lot of miles, 300k is not so close to 250k in terms of time.
What pisses me off is the engine software as I leaned towards trusting the sellers words about having it remapped with the CXH software. It has pulled really strong but real difference might have been around highway speeds which we didn’t do. Anyways engine is in a good shape I still assume but suspecting some lies around it is a warning sign. Also, I really thought that internals and peripherals for CXGx and CXHx are the same and while still believe they‘re mostly the same they’re definitely have some differences. Well, not happy about the engine then…

Now I’m hesitating to buy the aforementioned van as I don’t know much about its engine tuning. It has some more negatives such as not having any reversing assistant (PDC or camera) one of which I should install. It also has opening side windows in the back which means it’s also leaking so a fix is due (overdue, actually, as one of the side panel trims are soaked already). These keep me away from it a bit although all these are fixable…

Just today I’ve found a 2 year old T6.1 with 192kkm in the clock and proper VW service history which means it’s even under warranty for a little while yet. Downside is that it’s sooooo basic. White with black bumpers and steel wheels, 110PS. PDC is there but no towbar, no tinted windows in the back, just basic people mover. But the idea to have such a young car and mileage doesn’t grow with me too much considering it comes as a third car in the family…just can’t keep thinking about it. The price is 50% more than for the above T6 which I can afford but it’s still much money.

What you guys think? More money for a basic model but quite young or less for a not so much better equipped, having to deal with some issues one? What are pros and cons when it comes to the T6 vs T6.1 question?

Guys (I mean mostly @mmi) so much thanks goes to y'all having helped me with my saga a few months ago and now with advices to choose a proper car for my family. I ended up not buying the chipped T6 and went for a more expensive but seemingly better preserved 2021 T6.1. Just the basic Kombi - van with windows and seats - but at least there's less options to throw fault codes, huh?
In return to what I got here I purchased a VIP Membership (and thanks to this I can also download some more materials just in case they're needed, good value!).

Here's a pic about the car waiting to get prettier by tinting the windows and adding some decals and wheels perhaps. Unpainted bumpers are ugly but very practical (you hear me wifey?).

You could change the EGR unit on Monday and by Friday the light would come back on.
Every VW I've had or refurbished with the capacity to tell you there's a fault...has shown a fault.
They are notoriously glitchy and most of the time its a case of dissolving the carbon deposits in the valve....so premium fuel and an additive every fill up and your light will likely go off.
I've been driving my current T6 since 2016 with the light going on and off as it pleases.... no issues at all
