I ordered my EcoFlow DELTA 2 the other week (no cover as I was too late for that offer). I went for the package with the 220W solar panel as well.
The solar panel arrived a few days ago, but I’m not expecting the DELTA 2 until the 2nd half of November.

Well blow me if my DELTA 2 didn’t arrive the other day. Well done Ecoflow as that was ahead of estimate.

So today it has been plugged into the 220W solar panel, but the most charge I have seen (during a short period of sun) was 81W. As a result, the DELTA 2 has only gone up from 29% charged (as delivered) to 39% charge. Looking at the forecast it’s going to take a few weeks to get a full charge from solar at this time of year…

I just love the bag..... Reminds me of the Dometic fridge covers / bags.

A great idea and needs to be offered by all manufacturers moving forwards.....

No so sure about the price though,. Way too expensive for what it is... ( I got mine as part of the early bird offer)

This time of year we don't get much direct sunlight..... So solar yeild is low.

You could throw 800w at it and still not get no where.

Look at the 12v charger lead.... Most are limited to 8A (set in settings on Ecoflow) but will still charge faster than solar with a cloudy day.

Looking for advice...

Trying to decide between these 3 setups...

Ecoflow River 2 (256wh) with 110W solar panel £558

Anker 521 (256wh) with 100W Solar Panel £449 on sale

And the curve ball
Allpowers 606wh with 100W Solar Panel £594

Intended use:
-Charging and powering devices while camping and at home (love the idea of slinging the solar panel on the roof out the velux window and charging everything at home for free (I spent all my home solar panel array money on a T6)).
-Alongside leisure battery that powers fridge, lights and heater.

Leaning towards the anker 521 as it seems just seems like a good deal, and this thread suggests it's high quality.

Any suggestions appreciated

I've got an ALLPOWERS, - It was my first unit,

I've got a Anker 512 and love it,

I've also ordered a EF River 2, but i already have a EF River Pro.

so my take would be the Anker and EF are similar build quality and sit above the ALLPOWERS.

so id choose either one of those first. . . .

you can use any solar panel you like. . . . so you dont need to get any specific panel.

but if you wanted the official panels then they are both very similar. . .

at the end of the day its down your personal opio0nion and choice out of those two units.

Thanks Mr Massive.

Got this about my Delta Mini too - it said if it was used in UPS mode (which I don’t do) but I’d already updated the firmware last week anyway - checked it just now and it said up to date

EcoFlow Delta 2 -

whats inside . . . . . Teardown.

Despite the fact that Delta 2 exterior looks very similar to it's sibling Delta 1, it is completely different story inside.

The Good:

PCBs conformal coated,
Earth pin linked to mains,
16x 3.3v Lifpo4 cylnd cells @ 48v pack (LFP 3K cycles to 80% SOH)
