Leisure battery or not?

Hi All,
Quick question and looking for some advice.

I have a T32 6.1 kombi. Getting a removable rear bench put in for weekend trips away - 2 days at most. No pop top and no plans to ever have one. Would also like to get a diesel heater, halo roof, switch some of the ceiling lights so that they can come on individually when inside instead of only when opening the doors. Would need to charge phones and laptop also and run a compressor cool box. Will have a gas stove.

Spoke to a conversion company who suggested would be better off with a leisure battery and inverter but have seen that some people run with power banks. Is the best option to go with a leisure battery setup and just keep the power bank (already have a Jackery 2000) for emergencies? Everyone keeps posting how their L battery or stater battery gets drained and seems like they cause more trouble / maintenance than a power bank would be.

TIA.

If you want a neat fixed install and don’t mind a bit of wiring, go for a leisure battery. If you want a portable, albeit bulky, unit then go for a power bank.

Whether you really need 240v is also a factor, if you don’t need this then a power bank is a bit of a weird option as you’re essentially paying for an inverter that you don’t need. The only thing you’ve mentioned that might need 240v is the laptop but if you can charge that over usb c or any power brick with a 12v supply then it doesn’t sound like you need 240v at all.

As you have the Jackery already, you could use your money to buy solar panels or alternator charger?

There are plenty of options for using the power bank as a temporary leisure battery.
it can be plugged into the van to power basic components as well being charged by the alternator as per a typical LB set up.
You can then remove it to use elsewhere as required.
It doesn't need to be bulky but it will still need additional wiring and components to work this way.
It seems like the best compromise to me.
