Pole and clamp vs kador strip

I’ve got the Vango cove 2 low with the standard figure of eight drive away set up. I was wondering if the pole and clamp drive away setup would be easier. I have a standard c awning rail from Funky leisure. Would the pole clamp into this, or do you need a specific awning rail type?

I have the vango drive away kit as pictured above with the Kador strip. I'd seen a few folk mention the pole and clamp method was easier than inserting the kador strip each time and wondered what awning rail you needed to clamp the pole in. I have the standard Funky Leisure awning rail as shown in the picture. The other picture is what I'm considering to get instead of using the Kador strip. Although the pole and clamp does seem to be for older campers that had a deeper gutter.

I have pole and clamp and it fits the vamoose and multi rail. its a standby for when the figure of 8 is to hot in the sun like last year when it distorted and the strip would not go back in.

Sorry, I can’t help with this one, I have no experience of this particular setup.

To put some closure on this one. Seems you can’t use the pole and clamp system with a standard c rail. You need something larger for the clamp to attach.
