Kador Strip

Used our drive away awning for the 1st time yesterday with the drive away kit. Found that the kador strip and figure of 8 was longer than the c awning rail which is 2.4m which over hung at the front and back.

I have read that the kador strip can be cut, but what I don't know is, do I cut it to match the length of the c awning rail? Hope that makes sense.

Cut the kador strip and figure of 8 to the same length as the kador on your awning.

We use a "stop" at each end of the strip to hold it in place in the rail, so a little shorter in our case.

Thanks for the reply. So, if the kador strip on our awning is 2.4m, the drive away kit including the figure of 8 should match? Or should it be slightly shorter so that I can put a stop at each end of the drive away awning kit?
