Great lighting on the rocks👍. But, let’s start a debate….is that horizon level?
According to the spirit level on the iPhone when I took the photo, yes it is. I was very careful about this as I agree, it must be optical illusion. Or maybe I uploaded the wrong image lol.

This is what Lightroom thinks on auto levelimage.webpIMG_4906.webp
probably a bit too warm that, but I enjoy messing lol.

Today's wildlife photograph, literally chomping on a shrub in a park and this bad boy caterpillar was genuinely at least 4" long...

That's the wife's tiny little hand for comparison and no we didn't touch it.:geek:
Edit and I've just Googled Lensed it and apparently it's a Tetrio Sphinx caterpillar and narrowly edges out the two foot long bright green Iguana from the poolside yesterday!

Quietly pooed my pants last night in bed as it sounded like there was like a metallic scratching sound on the balcony outside our patio doors, enough to be heard above the surf.
Luckily the wife sleeps that side so it would have been her problem but could it have been this fella kipping in the covered BBQ?

I know they're supposed to be herbivores but what if we taste like oregano or fennel, it wasn't as big as the one by the pool yesterday but they do have claws.

I used to keep one as a pet. 😁

Got a problem here, not that I could show you as they're very shy but after filling up what I thought was a camp flowery paraffin lamp with a 1:4 sugar solution  :geek:now we're being mobbed... ok, occasionally visited by hummingbirds, lovely!
Slightly more spooky is the realisation that the occasional hummingbird we were seeing after dark are actually bats as one came through the patio doors for a quick shufty last night, yep more poopy pants but they actually wrap around the underside of the feeder and look like a black silk hanky, added to the list of things I haven't touched but explains why the juice is disappearing quickly all of a sudden.

Honest it is a hummingbird 🤔 the bats, now I know we've got them, will be next.

Apologies for multiple posts but this morning was beach fishing day...

Followed by Frigate Frenzy Wednesday...

I know they look tiny but honestly these things are huge, that small bird on the sea is a grey Pelican.
Surprised how many fish were netted considering they last fished on Sunday.

Another tree picture after lunch at Jemmas Treehouse Restaurant on the Beach at Speyside...

Got a job now with the local tourist office, won't be coming back... hang on, the wife heard that and apparently we are coming back as it's too flipping hot.

Went here too, very pretty...

Talked to Dion the beach fisherman who managed to get the Ray out of the net the other day and it was a young Manta about 3m across, not dangerous and protected.

Loving these daily pics. Keep them coming.
Where are you btw?

Black Rock, Tobago, this is probably in reality the fulfilling of an ambition I had back in the early 80s when we were newlyweds and had a hankering to visit Grenada with a mate and his girlfriend who came from there.
I'm 67 now and life gets in the way so it's almost a bit poignant we're here now but the plus side is we're probably more outgoing in old age and likely to mingle than when we were young and up ourselves, saying that we're still shy and retiring compared to the forum massive at Busfest!
Luckily I've got a mate with an apartment here so mates rates and while it is a bit flash we've got the whole block to ourselves so park our little hire Jimny all over the place and no keeping up appearances so full Primani wardrobe, well just swim shorts really.
