Painting splitter

Hi guys, my current spitter has met its end down a muddy lane filled with potholes
So I have bought a new one from Van-Tech and would like to spray part of it. Can anyone recommend a particular paint?
I was going to try and key the area, prime then paint...
Hoping to do the mesh area red to match the grille.

I used MTN grafiti spray paint to good effect on my T4 front grilles.
