Oil top up, is this good enough?

So I've got a "Check oil" message just a week before a booked oil change.

I believe the specified oil for a 6.1 150PS is Castrol Edge 5W-30 LL VW 504 00/ 507 00

But I have in the garage this which is Castrol Edge 0W-30 A5/B5 Volvo 9520037 which I have for the XC70 (and also use in the generator)



If the Caravelle does need a small top up could this be used for the 7-10 day before the oil is changed anyway or is it going to interact badly?

I don’t see any harm for just a a few days.
However it’s not a good idea mixing the 2 for longer periods. Vw oil is Acea C3, the one for your Volvo is not. Just buy 1Lt can of Castrol 507 for the future…
