Oil recommendations

my t6 is nearly a year old and 6500 miles , I want to change the oil & filter myself, I have ordered from the forum a genuine filter but what oil do you recommend, I see Granville and quantum, edge to name but a few.

I would go with whatever the VW recommendation is. IIRC isn't Castrol the 'partner' brand?

All the ones that I mentioned do the right grade of oil , but I don't want vw turning to me and say no to a warranty because i changed the oil earlier than be say.
So I guess what I am asking is as you say who do vw use and will they know if a different make but same grade oil is used
