We have bitten the bullet and ordered 500 litres at 74.9ppl, which undercuts our usual supplier by 15ppl. Not happy but it could have been a lot worse. That should see us through to October.....
That’s taking the…..Just checked and our usual supplier is currently quoting 152 ppl.![]()
Was he on his yacht when he gave that quote?Just checked and our usual supplier is currently quoting 152 ppl.![]()
Was that during the refinery blockades? It was nudging £2 a few years back. I can't remember the reason tho'. I do remember just cutting back on unnecessary journeys and how much quieter the roads were.
like inkjet printersBlimey. If fuel goes up much further itll be cheaper to buy a used car with a full tank and scrap it when it's empty than it would be to go to a petrol station to fill up!
I've got a 2500 miles road trip booked for July/AugustI am absolutely roaring.
I have a Scotland road trip coming up. Last thing I needed.
I take it they cancelled your order? It's a complete rip off.
I dipped my tank the other day and reckon I have 15% left of 1250 lite capacity.
But, its logs from now onwards until it comes down. Seriously needs some sort of regulation. It seem BoilerJuice and Homefuels can just refund payments and sell at a higher price at their whim. But it doesn't cut with me. I'll take them to a small claims court if I need to
We have an independent fuel station; we do not have the capacity to buy fuel weeks in advance. We usually have 2 deliveries a week. Back end of last week, we had to pay £1.69 PL for diesel supreme. We had booked a delivery for tomorrow and got the price to us this morning, not retail, £2.05 PL.So the garage forecourts are a rip off - upping costs for fuel they bought days and weeks ago
