Oil change

Ah, so you'll be familiar with the spanners then (says the man with the Suzuki made from low grade papier mache! :) )
For as much I love Ducati , we used to say that to own a Ducati you need to date the daughter of the mechanic.
Beatiful stuff, the right colors ("there is only another Red like this"), the right booming noise (and flames) inside a tunnel, got a 851, I should know, but reliable, err... no.

I've got a Hayabusa. Mechanically it's hardy but the materials are woefully poor.

Last year I farted while in the bath, and 20 metres away under a Goretex cover in the garage the foot rest heel plates started to go furry with the sudden rise in humidity.

I do not find RS Pro tools particularly good BTW. They are the own brand of RS, probably globally sourced stuff, nothing special. I would trust more the usual Europen tool brnds, Wera, Wiha, Gedore, Usag...
Just saying, I do not think the oil drain plug is critical at all. This is a low (compared to bolt size) torqued bolt, and the final torque will depend mostly on how the seal will get compressed. I would trust my old fashion hand 100%.
The two I own are German and British made. I suspect the Brit made one is a Norbar.
