OBD fuse location

Hi all.
I’m getting no power at my obd socket.

I can’t seem to find which fuse it runs off. Anyone have any ideas?

Lower middle of dash unless you don't have a T6?

Yep. Thanks very much. Wasn’t sure if there was an additional fuse box. I seem to have a lot less fuses than that picture!

Got the fuse out and yep, it was blown. Funny when I took it for it’s service at VW they said the socket was broken.. hmm

I've got no power to the odb plug on a transporter 2017 t6? 5amp fuse above ok. Just bought it so unsure history

Sometimes people remove power to it as a security measure or even relocate the port and put a blank/dummy in, prob worth dropping the footwell panel and having a scan of the wiring

Good call I'll look at taking the panel off at the w/e couldn't understand why the plug has no power?cheers

Should you wish to keep the dummy I think the general consensus is to not connect a data line but leave the power there.

No power is a pretty obvious clue that it's a dummy, no data is much more likely to be interpreted as a technical issue and not an indication of a dummy socket.
