After updating my satnav maps before a long drive this weekend I thought the Van would recognize the new bit of A14 in Cambridgeshire....

Had the same thing on Sunday, at one point according to the Satnav I was in the middle of a pond

Yeah I'm used to the 'in the middle of a field' stuff - it was the constant "now turn left" audio which was doing my head in!

LOL . . . . use google maps.

its more up to date with those sort of things . .

i know the section of the A14 though . . . .

been using it to go from London to Peterborough . . .

Google maps once told me to drive across a chain link footbridge and through a children’s playground! None of them are infallible but I find problems few and far between nowadays.
