Any tyre experts out there could advise if these two nails can be removed and tyre repaired? Just wondered if the large nail is too close to the edge?
Cheers

Get yourself a puncture repair kit. Less than £20, and will keep often you on the road.

That’ll easily fix being well away from the side wall, plenty of vids to help on YouTube.

A quick search pulled this up, but there are others.

centre two thirds .. 3/4`s of the tread is the official word. (and NOT allowed on shoulders or sidewall)

so yes they can be repaired with a patch from inside. . .

or as @Oldrat says, try a diy fix. . .

Puncture location

British Standard BSAU159 also defines the requirements for safe minor car tyre puncture repair and its proximity to the sidewall. To remain compliant, we are only able to carry out tyre repairs to the central ¾ of the tyre (known as the minor repair area). If the puncture is situated outside of this area it is deemed too close to the sidewall to guarantee a safe and lasting minor repair.
In case of an unfixable tyre, it is important to always have spares ready. Stock up on extra tyres for safety
