It will be a cost saving for sure. You think of 1.5m of exhaust piece times the number of vans they sell and thats a big cost saving. What else have the skimped on..........

Yes I think that's a good idea I will be eventually be going down that route

That looks cool has the rear box been removed ?

The tailpipe of the factory fitted box (middle of van) was removed and a 2.5inch stainless steel extension added, including the double tailpipe.

I had a Vito with a short exhaust, when it needed a rear silencer no-one even mercedes could supply it, not even on the parts list !
Ended up getting one made in stainless for it.

Mercedes quote "where did you buy THAT van from?"
