Hi all, first post - please go easy!
I have a slide out kitchen pod in my T6 kombi. It has a small tap, 2 x USB plugins and a 12V 'cig' lighter socket. I do not intend to add any other load to the circuit. I'd like to know what the most cost effective way of powering this pod is (i.e. do I need to spend £100s on a DC-DC charger set up).
An option (I think) is fitting a leisure battery to power the pod and having a 240v charger that I could plug in at home, at a site hookup or, in extremis, plugging into a 12V socket in the front of the van. Is that no go?
If the above is not viable I'd like to hear peoples thoughts on other (low cost) options?!
Thanks.
