Kombi adding DC - DC charger

Evening,
Started to plan a leisure battery under the passenger seat in my Kombi..
The plan is a

Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-18A Isolated DC-DC charger​

There is a feed from the battery (16mm by the looks of it) under the passenger seat from the battery already....
Question is: Charger negative input/ output...
Input just down to chassis
Output to leisure battery... makes sense to me as otherwise i'd assume they would of also ran a black cable out also !!

Both can go to chassis. The isolated version is for boats or motorhomes that don’t have a common ground via the chassis because of the structure (e.g. glass fibre).
