Is cigarette lighter 12v socket connected to the engine or leisure battery?

Hello guys!

I own a T6.1. I was wondering, that cigarette lighter socket in the front (next to the USB-C plug), it is connected to the engine battery or leisure battery? once my engine battery was dead but I was still able to charge my phone with that 12v plug, so I am confused...

Thanks a lot!

Define “dead”? Unable to turn the engine over? I think a phone will draw a lot less

Dead to the point that no light was able to turn on. I know that a phone drains almost nothing, but on Peugeot cars, when the engine battery is a bit weak, the cigarette lighter socket is turned off, very early actually.

I want to know because I also use that plug to charge my laptop and it drains 50w at least and I afraid to drain the engine battery and being stuck, especially in the cold winter here in Norway.

All the 12v outlets are fused in the SH fuse box and supplied by the leisure battery.

vip members have access to the circuit diagrams and fuse layouts.
