Hi All,
Recently had my T6 interior brought up to speed, thought i’d share it!

Dynamat sound deadening
Insulation
Two tone carpet lining
Alcantara roof lining
Carbon fibre wrapped roof splits
LED spots
Rear speaker installation
Front speaker & tweeter upgrades
12v socket in rear
Jack moved to under rear seats
Leather lined seats.

The guys who sorted the interior are also on with fabricating an interior bike rack for me, so once that’s installed I’ll post some pics.

Over the moon with the work that’s been carried out, made such a difference!

It’s like an Alcantara material in the rear, however the roof lining in the cab is the original that has been dyed to match.
I will speak to the guys that did it in the morning and get a more accurate answer for you.

Looks good mate, did you get your head unit vagcommed to enable it to access the fade for the rear speakers?

Yeah , apparently this was done when the van was in, but to be honest I haven’t been into the settings to check as the sound setup seems spot on.

Mine was done too and the sound is great but today I noticed (first time) that the volume was low in the rears and no way of adjusting them except with main volume. Someone mentioned that you might have to get the “Fade” option turned on by Vagcom to enable the balance so I’m searching for info about it.

I’ll double tomorrow and speak to the guys who carried out the work, see what I can find out

Hi,
I spoke to the guys at Evo Race & Recreation who carried out the work and they used ‘Suedeliner’ to line the roof of my van. It has a 3mm foam/scrim backing.
The finish and feel is spot on, i’m over the moon with it.
They didn’t line the front of the cab, they just dyed the original lining to match. It looks great to be honest!

Hi,
I spoke to the guys at Evo Race & Recreation who carried out the work and the guy they use for coding etc has both VagCom/VCDS & another coding software, but they are unsure how he did the coding for the rear fade on the head unit.
But it has been activated on mine, so it is possible.

Thanks so much for looking into that for me. That sounds ideal for what Im looking for. Have a good weekend and thanks again

Just had this knocked up by the guys who did the interior on my T6.
very neat bit of kit too, you can add/remove the axle clamps easily too so it just leaves the rail when not in use. They are planning on making these for retail.
