Installing wires

Okay I have looked and nothing is current or up to date in threads that I can see. I'm fearful this will end up stuck in the unanswered threads section all the same

Am stuck

I need someone to tell me what warm white puck lights to buy to install on/in my ceiling panels. I don't want to spend more than £20 ideally and if I can get em on amazon that'd be great as I have prime. I haven't got a hole saw either so surface mounted would be best.

I've got some 2.5mm cable on order and have pulled interior out so have access to run cable.

Do I need wagos to wire in the lights (in parallel) or are micro junction connectors better?

Also, I have 16mm cable left over, can I use this from B2B/MPPT to 12v fuse board or is it too big?

Should I try run conduit and a pull cable for solar? Or is it better to do this when the pop top is installed? Not gettin a pop top til 2026/27...

Be careful using cable connectors for mains voltage, it’s important with 12v DC to be sure it’s heavy enough to take the current.

Example; 500w load at mains voltage is approx’ 2A, a 500w load at 12vDC is approx’ 42A.

I've bought some amazon inset dimmable touch lights. Am stuck with control panel install and fuseboard logic.

Have you seen this video? I’ve referred back it to loads of times

I think I've watched that video at least 30 times. Lovely bloke!

The dimmable lights I bought were perhaps too cheap, I have sent them back. Just trying to find a set of 4 in my budget but there's not much.
